14 On page 77, between lines 27 & 28,

16 insert:
17 Section 68. Section 468.45615, Florida Statutes, is
18 created to read:
19 468.45615 Provision of illegal inducements to athletes
20 prohibited; penalties; license suspension.--
21 (1) No person licensed pursuant to this part may
22 provide illegal inducements to an athlete in violation of this
23 part.
24 (2) In addition to any other penalties provided for in
25 this part for the provision of illegal inducements to an
26 athlete, a person convicted of a violation under the
27 provisions of this section:
28 (a) Commits a felony of the second degree, punishable
29 as provided in ss. 775.082, 775.083, 775.084, 775.089, and
30 775.091.
31 (b) Shall have any license issued pursuant this part

2 (c) May not employ, utilize, or otherwise collaborate
3 with a licensed or unlicensed athletic agent in Florida to
4 recruit clients.
5 Section 69. Subsection (3) of section 468.4562,
6 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
7 468.4562 Civil action by institution.--
8 (1) A college or university may sue for damages, as
9 provided by this section, any person who violates this part.
10 A college or university may seek equitable relief to prevent
11 or minimize harm arising from acts or omissions which are or
12 would be a violation of this part.
13 (3) An institution that prevails in a suit brought
14 under this section may recover:
15 (a) Actual damages;
16 (b) Punitive damages;
17 (c) Treble damages;
18 (d)(c) Court costs; and
19 (e)(d) Reasonable attorney's fees.
