17 Section 56. All seines and rectangular nets comprised
18 of 500 square feet or less that are constructed of braided or
19 twisted nylon of any twine size and any mesh size shall be
20 considered non-entanglement and therefore are deemed to be
21 consistent with section 16(a), Art. X of the Florida
22 Constitution, thereby conserving the natural resources of this
23 state by eliminating the unnecessary killing, overfishing, and
24 waste of juvenile fish stocks and providing a commercially
25 viable net for all the citizens of this state.
