11  Senator Horne moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 12, lines 8 - 13, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:  the appointed Florida Board of Education, there

17  shall be established the Education Governance Reorganization

18  Transition Task Force. All members of the task force shall be

19  appointed as soon as feasible but not later than October 1,

20  2000. The task force shall be comprised of:

21         (a)  Five members appointed by the Governor;

22         (b)  Three members appointed by the President of the

23  Senate; and

24         (c)  Three members appointed by the Speaker of the

25  House of Representatives.
