13         Amendment to Amendment (772921) (with title amendment) 

14         On page 20, lines 11-30,

15  remove from the amendment:  all of said lines

16

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  state land planning agency. The

18  state land planning agency shall have 30 days to review

19  comments from the various government agencies along with a

20  local government's comprehensive plan or plan amendment.

21  During that period, the state land planning agency shall

22  transmit in writing its comments to the local government along

23  with any objections and any recommendations for modifications.

24  When a federal, state, or regional agency has implemented a

25  permitting program, the state land planning agency shall not

26  require a local government to duplicate or exceed that

27  permitting program in its comprehensive plan, to duplicate

28  data and analysis gathered through the required permitting

29  process, or to implement such a permitting program in its land

30  development regulations. Nothing contained herein shall

31  prohibit The state land planning agency in conducting its

 1  review of local plans or plan amendments may make from making

 2  objections, recommendations, and comments or make making

 3  compliance determinations regarding densities and intensities

 4  consistent with the provisions of this part. In preparing its

 5  comments, the state land planning agency shall only base its

 6  considerations on written, and not oral, comments, from any

 7  source.

13  amendment

15  insert:
