14         On page 61, lines 27-28,

15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

16

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  medical malpractice and

18  disciplinary systems and make recommendations regarding

19  alternative systems for reimbursing patients for injuries

20  resulting from medical errors which focus on early error

21  identification, personal responsibility, corrective action,

22  and education of other health care practitioners, health care

23  providers and consumers to avoid similar errors in the future.
