15         On page 5, between lines 5 and 6,

18         Section 2.  The Division of Statutory Revision of the

19  Office of Legislative Services is directed to prepare a

20  reviser's bill for introduction at the 2001 Regular Session of

21  the Legislature to change "Florida Merit Scholarship" to

22  "Florida Medallion Scholarship" and to change "Florida Merit

23  Scholar" to "Florida Medallion Scholar," effective for the

24  2002-2003 school year.

 1  and insert in lieu thereof:

 2         An act relating to scholarship programs;

 3         amending s. 240.498, F.S.; providing minimum

 4         requirements for support services provided

 5         through the law school scholarship program;

 6         authorizing the provision of awards to

 7         part-time students; providing for establishment

 8         of the amount of an award for a part-time

 9         student; providing a guarantee of enrollment of

10         a certain number of award recipients, provided

11         certain requirements are met; revising services

12         provided as part of the minority pre-law

13         scholarship loan program; limiting

14         administrative costs of the legal education

15         component of the Florida Education Fund;

16         directing the Division of Statutory Revision to

17         prepare a reviser's bill relating to the name

18         of the Florida Merit Scholarship;
