17 Section 22. In fiscal year 2000-2001, any unencumbered
18 funds remaining undisbursed on June 30, 2001, from the
19 Quick-Response Training Program, Brownfield Redevelopment
20 Bonus Refunds, Brownfield Redevelopment Grants Program, and
21 funds appropriated in the General Appropriations Act for
22 cleanup of state-owned lands, shall be used for grants to fund
23 assessment and remediation at brownfield sites or areas
24 designated pursuant to s. 376.80 prior to April 1, 2000, that
25 are United States Environmental Protection Agency brownfield
26 pilot projects designated prior to July 1, 1997, at which site
27 assessment has been initiated as of April 1, 2000. Grants
28 shall be distributed to eligible pilot projects under this
29 part on a pro-rata basis in an amount not to exceed $500,000
30 per pilot project.
