14         On page 3, lines 17-23 of the bill

15  remove from the bill:  all said lines

17  insert:  government may recommend alternative sites to the

18  department. The Department of Children & Family Services shall

19  give notice and hold a public hearing on the request for

20  modification in the same manner as for a rezoning as provided

21  under the appropriate special or local law or ordinance,

22  except that such proceedings shall be recorded by tape or a

23  certified court reporter and made available for transcription

24  at the expense of any interested party.
