14 On page 4, between lines 14 and 15,

16 insert:
17 Section 5. Paragraph (h) of subsection (1) of section
18 655.82, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 655.82 Pay-on-death accounts.--
20 (1) As used in this section:
21 (h) "Pay-on-death designation" means the designation
22 of:
23 1. A beneficiary in an account payable on request to
24 one party during the party's lifetime and on the party's death
25 to one or more beneficiaries, or to one or more parties during
26 their lifetimes and on death of all of them to one or more
27 beneficiaries; or
28 2. A beneficiary in an account in the name of one or
29 more parties as trustee for one or more beneficiaries if the
30 relationship is established by the terms of the account and
31 there is no subject of the trust other than the sums on

1 deposit in the account, whether or not payment to the
2 beneficiary is mentioned.
3 3. A beneficiary for whom a deposit is made by one or

7 and valid trust.
