13         Amendment 

14         On page 89, between lines 2 and 3 of the bill

15

16  insert:

17         (2)  It is the intent of the Legislature that the costs

18  attributable to the reduction of contribution rates pursuant

19  to subsection (1) shall be funded by a recognition of a lump

20  sum from the excess actuarial assets of the Florida Retirement

21  System Trust Fund for fiscal years 2000-2001 and 2001-2002.

22         Section 36.  (1)  In order to implement the provisions

23  of this act, the State Board of Administration, the Department

24  of Management Services and the employers participating in the

25  Florida Retirement System shall coordinate efforts to the

26  greatest extent practicable.
