13         Amendment 

14         On page 4, line 13, after the period

16  insert:  Any optional defined contribution retirement program

17  adopted pursuant to this act shall include the requirement

18  that no person may participate in the program unless that

19  person has been employed for a period of at least 12 months by

20  the State of Florida under the Florida Retirement System prior

21  to participating in the optional defined contribution

22  retirement program.
