13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 55, between lines 26 and 27,

16  insert:

17         Section 19.  Notwithstanding the provisions of s.

18  259.101(3)(c), Florida Statutes (1993) (Section 5, Chapter

19  92-288, Laws of Florida), regarding the set-aside of funds for

20  land acquisition in areas of critical state concern, $2.5

21  million is hereby appropriated to the City of Apalachicola for

22  land acquisition associated with the area of critical state

23  concern to assist in completing the City's sewer improvement

24  program. This appropriation is contingent upon the review of

25  the city's proposal and a determination by the Department of

26  Community Affairs that the proposed project is an eligible use

27  of funds under the Florida Communities Trust program. The city

28  is not required to provide matching funds for the approved

29  project.
