14         On page 22, line 28, through page 23, line 2, delete

15  those lines

17  and insert:  section. By October 1, 2000, the State Board of

18  Education shall adopt rules for certification in the area of

19  speech-language impairment of a teacher who holds a bachelor's

20  degree as provided by Part I of ch. 468, F.S. This

21  certification shall authorize the provision of speech-language

22  services under the direct supervision of a speech-language

23  pathologist licensed pursuant to Part I of ch. 468, F.S.
