  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the death penalty;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to revise the

  4         laws governing the death penalty; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  revise the laws governing the death penalty in this state.

11         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

12  law.
