13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 12, between lines 24 and 25,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 6.  Section 240.2985, Florida Statutes, is

18  amended to read:

19         240.2985  Ethics in Business Scholarship Program.--The

20  Ethics in Business Scholarship Program is hereby created, to

21  be administered by the Board of Regents. Moneys appropriated

22  and allocated to university foundations for purposes of the

23  program shall be used to create endowments for the purpose of

24  providing scholarships to undergraduate and graduate college

25  students enrolled in state institutions of higher learning who

26  register for the equivalent of one or more credit hours in

27  courses in business ethics and who have demonstrated a

28  commitment to serving the interests of their community.  First

29  priority for awarding such scholarships shall be given to

30  students who demonstrate financial need.
