  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to motor vehicle license

  3         plates; amending s. 320.084, F.S.; allowing

  4         certain disabled veterans to purchase

  5         additional disabled veterans' license plates;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Subsection (6) is added to section 320.084,

11  Florida Statutes, to read:

12         320.084  Free motor vehicle license plate to certain

13  disabled veterans.--

14         (6)  A disabled veteran who has received a free license

15  plate under this section may purchase additional disabled

16  veterans' license plates. The cost for additional plates may

17  not exceed the cost provided in s. 320.06(1)(b).

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2000.

22    Authorizes disabled veterans who qualify for free
      disabled veterans' motor vehicle license plates to
