13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 3, lines 10-15, delete section 2

16  and insert:

17         Section 1.  The City of Port St. Lucie is authorized

18  and directed to appropriate from funds of the city not

19  otherwise appropriated and, on or before October 31, 2000, to

20  draw a warrant in the sum of $75,000 payable to J. C.

21  Wendehake as compensation for injuries sustained due to the

22  negligence of the City of Port St. Lucie.
