14         On page 1, line 24 through the period on line 27,

15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  for required courses shall be

18  limited to replacing a grade of "D" or "F," or the equivalent

19  of a grade of "D" or "F," with a grade of "C" or higher, or

20  the equivalent of a grade of "C" or higher, earned

21  subsequently in the same or comparable course. Forgiveness

22  policies for elective courses shall be limited to replacing a

23  grade of "D" or "F," or the equivalent of a grade of "D" or

24  "F," with a grade of "C" or higher, or the equivalent of a

25  grade of "C" or higher, earned subsequently in another course.
