11  Senator Sullivan moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 1, between lines 25 and 26,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 2.  Notwithstanding anything in section

18  465.025, Florida Statutes, for the initial prescription of any

19  medication, a pharmacist must dispense the same medication

20  prescribed unless prior approval is obtained from the

21  prescriber of such medication. The pharmacist may only

22  dispense the same medication prescribed in the original

23  prescription for any subsequent refill unless the prescriber

24  is notified and authorizes substitution of that medication.
