11  Senator Bronson moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 6, lines 1-17, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:  costs must initially be grouped, at a minimum,

17  within the following categories:

18         (a)  Resource management;

19         (b)  Administration;

20         (c)  Capital improvements; and

21         (d)  Visitor services and recreation.

23  Upon adoption of the initial list of land management

24  categories by the council, agencies assigned to manage

25  conservation or recreation lands shall, on July 1, 2000, begin

26  to account for land management costs in accordance with the

27  category to which an expenditure is assigned.

28         (4)  The council shall provide its adopted complete

29  list of land management categories, including subcategories,

30  to the Governor, the Board of Trustees of the Internal

31  Improvement Trust Fund, the President of the Senate, the

 1  Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Acquisition

 2  and Restoration Council by January 1, 2001. The agencies must

 3  begin to account for expenditures in accordance with the

 4  completed list of categories on July 1, 2001.
