13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 17, between lines 20 and 21,

16  insert:

17         Section 3.  Subsection (1) of section 627.6515, Florida

18  Statutes, is amended to read:

19         627.6515  Out-of-state groups.--

20         (1)  Any group health insurance policy issued or

21  delivered outside this state under which a resident of this

22  state is provided coverage shall comply with the provisions of

23  this part in the same manner as group health policies issued

24  in this state. However, notwithstanding any other provision of

25  this section, any group health insurance policy or certificate

26  that is marketed, solicited, or issued to a resident of this

27  state, and which is medically underwritten in order to

28  determine eligibility for coverage offered under the group

29  plan, shall be considered an individual health insurance

30  policy and shall be subject to and comply with the provisions

31  of the Florida Insurance Code in the same manner as individual
