14 On page 165, between lines 12 and 13,

16 insert:
17 Section 102. The Florida Building Commission shall
18 examine the applicability of the full proposed Florida
19 Building Code to buildings manufactured and assembled offsite
20 but not intended for human habitation, such as storage sheds
21 and lawn storage buildings. The commission shall consider
22 whether such buildings should be subject to the same standards
23 applicable to buildings intended for human habitation; the
24 feasibility of constructing such buildings to such standards;
25 the additional financial costs associated with compliance with
26 such standards; the risk reduction effects associated with
27 such compliance; and the long-term economic and practical
28 consequences attendant to such compliance. The commission
29 shall report its findings and recommendations for legislative
30 change, if any, to the President of the Senate and the Speaker
31 of the House of Representatives by January 1, 2001.
