11  The Committee on Health, Aging and Long-Term Care recommended

12  the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 17, lines 22-27, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:

18         (2)  A procedure to contact, prior to or immediately

19  following an emergency or disaster, all persons, on a priority

20  basis, who need assistance and sheltering during evacuations

21  because of physical, mental, or sensory disabilities and whose

22  care is provided under the contract.

23         (3)  A procedure to help persons who would need

24  assistance and sheltering during evacuations because of

25  physical, mental, or sensory disabilities register with the

26  local emergency management agency as provided in s. 252.355,

27  Florida Statutes.
