11  Senator Latvala moved the following amendment to amendment

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 131, line 27 through page 136, line 10, delete

16  those lines

17

18  and insert:

19         Section 79.  Notwithstanding any other provision of

20  law, the sum of $200,000 is appropriated from the Insurance

21  Commissioner's Regulatory Trust Fund to the Office of

22  Legislative Services for the purpose of implementing the

23  legislative intent expressed in s. 624.215(1), Florida

24  Statutes, for a systematic review of proposed mandated health

25  coverages. The review must be conducted by certified actuaries

26  and other appropriate professionals and shall consist of an

27  assessment of the impact, including, but not limited to, the

28  costs and benefits, of mandated health coverages using the

29  guidelines provided in s. 624.215(2), Florida Statutes. This

30  assessment shall establish the aggregate cost of proposed

31  mandated health coverages. THe term "mandated health
