13         Amendment 

14         On page 132, line 28 through page 133, line 12,

15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

16

17  and insert in lieu thereof:

18         1.  A bonus in the amount of $50 for each student

19  taught by the Advanced Placement teacher in each advanced

20  placement course who receives a score of 3 or higher on the

21  College Board Advanced Placement Examination.

22         2.  An additional bonus of $500 to each Advanced

23  Placement teacher in a school designated performance grade

24  category "D" or "F" who has at least one student scoring 3 or

25  higher on the College Board Advanced Placement Examination,

26  regardless of the number of classes taught or of the number of

27  students scoring a 3 or higher on the College Board Advanced

28  Placement Examination.

30  Bonuses awarded to a teacher according to this paragraph shall

31  not exceed $2,000 in any given school year and shall be in
