1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to trust funds; terminating or
3 modifying specified trust funds administered by
4 state health and human services agencies;
5 providing an effective date.

7 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

9 Section 1. (1) The following trust funds administered
10 by the following agencies are terminated:
11 (a) Within the Department of Children and Family
12 Services:
13 1. The Florida Organ and Tissue Donor Education Trust
14 Fund, FLAIR number 68-2-512.
15 2. The Direct Assistance Trust Fund, FLAIR number
16 60-2-156.
17 (b) Within the Department of Veterans' Affairs, the
18 Administrative Trust Fund, FLAIR number 50-2-021.
19 (2) Unless otherwise provided, all current balances
20 remaining in, and all revenues of, the trust funds terminated
21 by this act shall be transferred to the General Revenue Fund.
22 (3) For each trust fund and fund account terminated by
23 this act, the agency that administers the trust fund or fund
24 account shall pay any outstanding debts or obligations of the
25 terminated fund or account as soon as practicable, and the
26 Comptroller shall close out and remove the terminated fund or
27 account from the various state accounting systems using
28 generally accepted accounting principles concerning warrants
29 outstanding, assets, and liabilities.
30 Section 2. The Child Care and Development Block Grant
31 Trust Fund within the Department of Children and Family

1 Services, FLAIR number 60-2-098, is renamed the Child Care and
2 Development Trust Fund.
3 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2000.
