13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 5, lines 1 through 6,

15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

16

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  limited to, case management. From

18  the funds specified in subparagraph (d)1. for indigent health

19  care services, service providers shall receive reimbursement

20  at a Medicaid rate to be determined by the governing board,

21  agency, or authority created pursuant to this paragraph for

22  the initial emergency room visit, and a per-member per-month

23  fee or capitation for those members enrolled in their service

24  area, as compensation for the services rendered following the

25  initial emergency visit. Except for provisions of emergency

26  services, upon determination of eligibility, enrollment shall

27  be deemed to have occurred at the time services were rendered.

28  The provisions for specific reimbursement of emergency

29  services shall be repealed on July 1, 2001, unless otherwise

30  reenacted by the Legislature. The
