14         On page 5, of the bill

16  between lines 15 and 16, insert:

17         (d)  A nonpublic school student is eligible to

18  participate at the public school to which the student would be

19  assigned according to district school attendance area

20  policies, or which the student could choose to attend pursuant

21  to district or interdistrict controlled open enrollment

22  provisions, in only the interscholastic extracurricular

23  activities that the student's nonpublic school does not offer.

24  The student must register with the school his or her intent to

25  participate in interscholastic extracurricular activities as a

26  representative of the school before the beginning date of the

27  season for the activity in which he or she wishes to

28  participate. A nonpublic school student must be able to

29  participate in curricular activities if that is a requirement

30  for an extracurricular activity.
