17         Section 9.  Section 838.25, Florida Statutes, is

18  created to read:

19         838.25  Status of confidential informants and

20  confidential sources.  Any person who provides information to

21  a prosecutor under this chapter shall be considered a

22  confidential informant or confidential source pursuant to s.
