11  Senator Clary moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 5, between lines 26 and 27,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 5.  Section 290.00695, Florida Statutes, is

18  created to read:

19         290.00695  Enterprise zone designation for Calhoun

20  County.--Calhoun County may apply to the Office of Tourism,

21  Trade, and Economic Development for designation of one

22  enterprise zone within an area in Calhoun County. The

23  application must be submitted by December 31, 2000, and must

24  comply with the requirements of s. 290.0055, except subsection

25  (3) thereof. Notwithstanding the provisions of s. 290.0065

26  limiting the total number of enterprise zones designated and

27  the number of enterprise zones within a population category,

28  the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development may

29  designate one enterprise zone under this section. The Office

30  of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development shall establish

31  the initial effective date of the enterprise zone designated

15         respect thereto;
