25         Section 1.  Section 16.55, Florida Statutes, is

18         fiscal year 1998-1999 and requiring a related

19         report by January 15, 1999.  The provision in

20         subsection (2) stating that sheriffs of the

21         specified counties would assume entire

22         responsibility for provision of the services in

23         fiscal year 1999-2000 is repeated in subsection

24         (3).

24         Section 17.  Subsection (2) of section 159.345,

  5         Section 18.  Subsection (2) of section 161.56, Florida

  6  Statutes, is repealed.

  8         Reviser's note.--Repeals a provision requiring

  9         local governments to provide evidence of

10         adoption of a building code to the state land

11         planning agency and requiring the agency,

12         within 90 days after January 1, 1987, to submit

13         to the Administration Commission a list of

14         local governments that did not submit evidence

15         of adoption of a building code for

16         determination of whether to impose sanctions.

18         Section 19.  Paragraph (c) of subsection (11) of

19  section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, is repealed.

21         Reviser's note.--Repeals a provision that

22         requires deposit of funds withheld from a local

23         government as a sanction for noncompliance of

24         its comprehensive plan into the Growth

25         Management Trust Fund created by s. 186.911.

26         Section 186.911, which created the Growth

27         Management Trust Fund, was repealed by s. 1,

28         ch. 95-145, Laws of Florida.

30         Section 20.  Subsection (7) of section 163.3187,

31  Florida Statutes, is repealed.

  4         comprehensive plan amendments and a report by

  5         the state land planning agency on or before

  6         January 15, 1996.

  8         Section 21.  Subsections (13) and (15) of section

  9  163.3191, Florida Statutes, are repealed.

11         Reviser's note.--Repeals provisions that are

12         obsolete.  Subsection (13) requires submittal

13         "within 1 year after the effective date of this

14         act" of a report on coordination efforts of

15         local, regional, and state agencies to improve

16         technical assistance for evaluation and

17         appraisal reports and update comprehensive plan

18         amendments.  Subsection (13) was enacted by s.

19         14, ch. 98-176, Laws of Florida, effective

20         October 1, 1998.  Subsection (15) requires

21         evaluation of an evaluation and appraisal

22         report due for adoption before October 1, 1998,

23         and allows for local governments to choose the

24         evaluation method for their reports if the

25         adoption date is after September 30, 1998, and

26         before February 2, 1999.

28         Section 22.  Subparagraph 4. of paragraph (d) of

29  subsection (9) of section 166.231, Florida Statutes, is

30  repealed.

  1         Reviser's note.--Repeals a provision

  2         authorizing assessment on a pro rata basis of

  3         any shortfall in the municipal utility tax

  4         assessment from telecommunications services if

  5         the amount collected for July 1, 1995, to June

  6         30, 1996, is less than the amount collected for

  7         July 1, 1994, to June 30, 1995.

  9         Section 23.  Subsection (2) of section 177.085, Florida

10  Statutes, is repealed.

12         Reviser's note.--Repeals a provision allowing

13         holders of any reversionary rights in streets

14         in plats of subdivided lots previously recorded

15         in the county public records a period of 1 year

16         from July 1, 1972, to sue to enforce their

17         rights, after which time the right, title, or

18         interest is barred and unenforceable.

20         Section 24.  Sub-subparagraph d. of subparagraph 2. of

21  paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of section 190.006, Florida

22  Statutes, is repealed.

24         Reviser's note.--Repeals a provision requiring

25         each community development district in

26         existence on June 21, 1991, to, within 60 days,

27         determine the number of qualified electors in

28         the district as of June 21, 1991, using the

29         official records maintained by the supervisor

30         of elections and property appraiser or tax

31         collector in the county.

18         Section 117.  Paragraphs (a) and (b) of subsection (1)

19  and subsection (4) of section 753.004, Florida Statutes, are

20  repealed.

23         obsolete and have served their purpose.

24         Paragraphs (1)(a) and (b) specify duties of the

25         Florida Family Visitation Task Force in

26         relation to the Institute of Food and

27         Agricultural Sciences.  Section 753.003, which

28         created the task force, was repealed by s. 74,

29         ch. 99-5, Laws of Florida.  Subsection (4)

30         specifies that s. 753.004 takes effect on July

31         1, 1996.
