17 Section 3. Section 922.102, Florida Statutes, is
18 created to read:
19 922.102 Execution of death sentence by nitrous oxide--
20 Notwithstanding s. 922.105, within 10 days after the
21 issuance of a death warrant, a capital defendant may select to
22 be executed by inhalation of nitrous oxide in a quantity
23 sufficient to cause death. The selection must be made in
24 writing and delivered to the warden of the correctional
25 facility.
