13         Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 156, between lines 16 and 17,

16  insert:  
17         Section 1.  (1)  This shall be known as the "Dori
18  Slosberg Act of 2001."
19         (2)  Notwithstanding the provisions of s. 318.121,
20  Florida Statutes, a board of county commissioners may require,
21  by ordinance, that the clerk of the court collect an
22  additional $3 with each civil traffic penalty, which shall be
23  used to fund driver education programs in public and nonpublic
24  schools. The ordinance shall provide for the board of county
25  commissioners to administer the funds. The funds shall be used
26  for direct educational expenses and shall not be used for
27  administration.
