11  The Committee on Business Regulation offered the following:

13         Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 5, line 23 through page 6, line 12,
15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines
16  
17  and insert in lieu thereof:  the representative of the
18  commission.
19         (k)  Development of guidelines and requirements
20  pursuant to s. 548.008.
21         Section 3.  Section 548.008, Florida Statutes, is
22  amended to read:
23         548.008  Toughman and badman competition prohibited.--
24         (1)  No professional or amateur toughman or badman
25  match, as described in this section, may be held in this
26  state, unless otherwise approved and administered by the
27  commission.  Such competition includes any contest or
28  exhibition where participants compete by using a combination
29  of fighting skills.  Such skills may include, but are not
30  limited to, boxing, wrestling, kicking, or martial arts
31  skills. Notwithstanding the above, this section shall not

 1  preclude kickboxing as regulated by this chapter.
 2         (2)  Any person participating in or promoting a
 3  professional or amateur toughman or badman match is guilty of
 4  a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in
 5  s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

11  remove from the title of the bill:  all of said lines

18         providing for commission approval of toughman
