14 On page 11, between lines 2 and 3,

16 insert: Section 16. Subsection (2) of section 948.09,
17 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
18 948.09 Payment for cost of supervision and
19 rehabilitation.--
20 (2) Any person being electronically monitored by the
21 department as a result of placement on community control shall
22 be required to pay as a surcharge an amount not to exceed the
23 full cost of the monitoring service, but not less than $1 per
24 day $1-per-day surcharge in addition to the cost of
25 supervision fee as directed by the sentencing court. The
26 surcharge shall be deposited in the Operating Trust Fund to be
27 used by the department for purchasing and maintaining
28 electronic monitoring devices.
