11 The Council for Smarter Government offered the following:

13 Amendment
14 On page 18, lines 14-26,
15 remove from the bill: all of said lines,
16
17 and insert in lieu thereof:
18 (c) Annually conduct financial audits of all
19 universities and district boards of trustees of community
20 colleges.
21 (d) Annually conduct financial audits of the accounts
22 and records of all district school boards in counties with
23 populations of fewer than 125,000, according to the most
24 recent federal decennial statewide census.
25 (e) Annually conduct an audit of the Wireless
26 Emergency Telephone System Fund as described in s. 365.173.
27 (f) At least every 2 years, conduct operational audits
28 of the accounts and records of state agencies and
29 universities. In connection with these audits, the Auditor
30 General shall give appropriate consideration to reports issued
31 by state agencies' inspectors general or universities'
