14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 85, between lines 6 and 7,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 37.  Subsection (3) of section 400.4275,
19  Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20         400.4275  Business practice; personnel records;
21  liability insurance.--The assisted living facility shall be
22  administered on a sound financial basis that is consistent
23  with good business practices.
24         (3)  The administrator or owner of a facility shall
25  maintain liability insurance coverage that is in force at all
26  times. All assisted living facilities that are licensed as of
27  May 1, 2001, will have until December 31, 2001, to comply with
28  the requirements of this section.
