14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 106, lines 15-22, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         1.  Changes of ownership or of licensed operator
19  between related parties do not qualify for increases in
20  reimbursement rates associated with the change of ownership or
21  of licensed operator. The agency shall amend the Title XIX
22  Long Term Care Reimbursement Plan to provide that the initial
23  nursing home reimbursement rates for the operating, patient
24  care, and MAR components, associated with related and
25  unrelated party changes of ownership or changes of licensed
26  operator filed on or after September 1, 2001, are equivalent
27  to the previous owner's reimbursement rate.
