15 On page 4, lines 16-27,
16 remove from the bill: all of said lines

18 and insert in lieu thereof:
19 impair any accrued benefit earned prior to July 1, 2001. A
20 previously established contract renewed on or after July 1,
21 2001, shall be considered a new contact.
22 b. For unused sick leave accumulated before prior to
23 July 1, 2001 1995, terminal payment shall be made pursuant to
24 a district school board's policies, contracts, or rules that
25 which are in effect on June 30, 2001 July 1, 1995.
26 c. Each district school board may also adopt policies
27 through which sick leave accumulated in previous years by
28 full-time employees of the board may be contributed to an
29 approved pretax retirement account, in the name of the
30 employee, based on the daily rate of pay of the employee.
31 d. Nothing in this subparagraph shall be interpreted
