15         On page 3, lines 10-15,
16  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

18  and insert in lieu thereof:  expended for after-school care
19  programs, through contracts with qualified faith-based and
20  community-based organizations, on an equal basis with other
21  private organizations, to provide after-school care programs
22  to eligible children 14 through 18 years of age. Such programs
23  shall include academic tutoring, mentoring, and other
24  appropriate services. Similar services may be provided for
25  eligible children 6 through 13 years of age using Temporary
26  Assistance for Needy Families funds.
