11  Senator King moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 2, lines 4-15, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  by vote of at least 55 percent of the electors
17  voting on the proposed amendment or revision, it shall be
18  effective as an amendment to or revision of the constitution
19  of the state on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in
20  January following the election, or on such other date as may
21  be specified in the amendment or revision.
22         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following statement be
23  placed on the ballot:
24                     CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT
25                      ARTICLE XI, SECTION 5
26         APPROVAL OF CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS.--Proposing an
