14 Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 64, between lines 2 and 3, of the bill
16
17 insert:
18 Section 22. By October 31, 2002, the Florida Board of
19 Education shall provide recommendations to the Governor, the
20 Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the President of
21 the Senate for a performance-based funding model for the State
22 University System. The recommendations shall provide that at
23 least 10 percent of legislatively appropriated funds shall be
24 allocated based on performance standards which are tied on the
25 mission of each university.
