  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating the

  3         Local Communications Services Tax Clearing

  4         Trust Fund within the Department of Revenue;

  5         providing that the Local Communications

  6         Services Tax Clearing Trust Fund is not subject

  7         to automatic repeal; providing an effective

  8         date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  (1)  The Local Communications Services Tax

13  Clearing Trust Fund is created within the Department of

14  Revenue. The proceeds of each local communications services

15  tax shall be transferred to the Local Communications Services

16  Tax Clearing Trust Fund and held there to be distributed as

17  provided for in section 202.18(3)(a), Florida Statutes.

18         (2)  The Local Communications Services Tax Clearing

19  Trust Fund is exempt from automatic termination under Section

20  19(f)(3) of Article III of the State Constitution.

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.
