17 and insert in lieu thereof:
18 Section 3. Subsection (9) is added to section
19 627.6515, Florida Statutes, to read:
20 627.6515 Out-of-state groups.--
21 (9) Notwithstanding any other provision of this
22 section, any group health insurance policy or group
23 certificate for health insurance, as described in s.
24 627.6561(5)(a)2., which is issued to a resident of this state
25 and requires individual underwriting to determine coverage
26 eligibility for an individual or premium rates to be charged
27 to an individual shall be considered a policy issued on an
28 individual basis and is subject to and must comply with the
29 Florida Insurance Code in the same manner as individual
30 insurance policies issued in this state.
