14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 3 between lines 14 and 15,

17  insert:  
18         (3)  A community college may not terminate its
19  Associate-in Arts or Associate-in-Science degree programs as a
20  result of the authorization provided in subsection (2). The
21  Legislature intends that the primary mission of a community
22  college, including a college that offers baccalaureate-degree
23  programs, continues to be the provision of associate degrees
24  that provide access to a university.
