14 On page 7, line 2, after the period,

16 insert: Upon completion of this transfer, the State
17 Technology Office and the Department of Insurance shall enter
18 into discussions to determine whether it would be
19 technologically feasible and cost effective to separate the
20 Workers' Compensation Integrated System from its current
21 mainframe platform and transfer ownership of this system to
22 the Department of Insurance. If the Department of Insurance
23 ultimately determines that it is technologically feasible and
24 cost effective to transfer ownership of the Workers'
25 Compensation Integrated System from the State Technology
26 Office to the Department of Insurance, the State Technology
27 Office and the Department of Insurance shall jointly develop
28 and implement a plan to transfer this system to the Department
29 of Insurance.
