11  Senator Sullivan moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 12, lines 4-14, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  
17         (g)  Beginning July 1, 2001, for each employee who
18  enters into a written contract, pursuant to this section, in a
19  school district in which the employee was not employed as of
20  June 30, 2001, for purposes of pay, a school board must
21  recognize and accept each year of full-time teaching service
22  for which the employee received a satisfactory performance
23  evaluation. This provision is not intended to interfere with
24  the operation of a collective bargaining agreement except to
25  the extent it requires the agreement to treat years of
26  teaching experience out of the district the same as years of
27  teaching experience within the district. Instructional
28  personnel employed pursuant to s. 121.091(9)(b)3. are exempt
29  from this paragraph.
