  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to construction management for

  3         nonstate entities; repealing s. 255.31(3),

  4         F.S.; eliminating the authority of the

  5         Department of Management Services to enter into

  6         contracts with nonstate entities for

  7         construction management services; repealing s.

  8         235.017(2)(e), F.S., to conform; providing an

  9         effective date.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12

13         Section 1.  Subsection (3) of section 255.31, Florida

14  Statutes, and paragraph (e) of subsection (2) of section

15  235.017, Florida Statutes, are repealed.

16         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.
