  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to governmental efficiency;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to revise the

  4         laws relating to bidding or contracting by

  5         state employees; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to revise the laws

10  relating to bidding or contracting for governmental functions

11  or duties currently performed by state employees.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.
