  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to education funding; providing

  3         for the allocation of funds by a school board;

  4         providing an effective date.

  6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  7

  8         Section 1.  The state portion of the Florida Education

  9  Finance Program dollars generated by an individual

10  full-time-equivalent student must be allocated by the local

11  school board to the public school the student attends within

12  the district.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.

17    Requires that state education dollars generated by a
      full-time-equivalent student be allocated to the public
18    school that the student attends.
